We've been visiting Pecan Park Riverside RV Park just outside of San Marcos, Texas since 2016. We love that we can sit by the San Marcos River or listen to the birds sing amongst the mature trees. This family-owned park is an RV park that feels like a campground. We made our first trip to Jamaica Beach RV Resort on Galveston Island back in 2013. We were really impressed on that first trip. The Gustafson family and their staff really set the bar high for RV resort experiences. We have returned to Jamaica Beach at least once a year every year since that first trip and we have never been disappointed! If you are headed to San Antonio to visit SeaWorld, consider staying at Admiralty RV Resort. This 207 site RV Resort is located just one mile from SeaWorld San Antonio. During our stay here we were able to get from our campsite to our parking space at SeaWorld in less than 5 minutes! We first met the folks from Rayford Crossing RV Resort a couple of years ago, I guess, at the Houston RV Show. A generator maintenance appointment Monday morning at Cummins Southern Plains in Northeast Houston gave us the perfect excuse to visit this park for the weekend. Long recognized as a playground for Houstonians, Kemah, Texas is home to the 3rd largest fleet of recreational boats in the United States. According to the city's history, it is considered the "Gateway to the Bay" because of its position on both Clear Creek and Galveston Bay.
