But Austin is just the beginning of the beauty and fun of the Hill Country! What many consider to be "the most scenic drive in Texas", Highway 16, is here. There are caverns to be explored, rivers to be floated, and wineries to be toured. The LBJ Presidential Library and National Historical Park are also in the Hill Country. Cities include Fredericksburg, Kerrville, New Braunfels, Uvalde and Round Rock.
