Being from Houston, we've visited Huntsville State Park many times over the years, but this is our first visit since we started filming videos. Huntsville is a great place to relax, hike, fish or paddle. We had a great time visiting with our extended family and celebrating our cousin's 60th wedding anniversary! It was a really fun weekend of reconnecting and catching up, made even better by the fact that Stacie's Mom came along with us and was our first official "house guest" since we changed RVs.
One of the things we love best about RVing is the time that we get to spend with family and friends. We look forward to doing a lot more of that in the future.
We have a lot of folks ask us about our RV flag pole. Within this video, we show you how easy it is to mount on our rear ladder and how we light our flags up at night. If you are interested in looking at a flag pole system like ours, you can find them via our Amazon affiliate links: FlagPole Buddy RV Flag Pole Kit and Solar Powered LED Flag Pole Light. You'll find these items plus several flags, state sticker maps and a few other fun things in the Fun Stuff For Your RV section of our Amazon Storefront.
We wrote about our experience RV camping at Huntsville State Park back in 2013 (way before we ever thought about filming videos of our travels). We'll be updating that information with an all new video, write-up and park profile next week. So be sure you watch for that!
