Welcome Back Y'all!
It's been a little while since we've sent out a Newsletter. We apologize for that. We know all of our lives have been a bit crazy and unexpected over the past several months, and we hope you are doing well. As for us, you probably already know that we rode out the lockdown with our good friends Greg and Carolyn on their gorgeous property. And we're excited to be in our 3rd week of being back out on the road. We have a full summer of campground adventures booked and we look forward to sharing what we find with you!

We've been visiting Pecan Park Riverside RV Park just outside of San Marcos, Texas since 2016. We love that we can sit by the San Marcos River or listen to the birds sing amongst the mature trees. This family-owned park is an RV park that feels like a campground. And it's just minutes away from all of the fun things to do and restaurants in San Marcos as well as several other interesting towns... [

There are a lot of things we love about RV life. We love spending time in nature. We love road trip travels. We love exploring new places. We love that our house is always with us. But, perhaps our favorite thing about RV life is people. The people we meet in campgrounds and RV parks are amazing folks. We made our first trip to Jamaica Beach RV Resort on Galveston Island back in 2013. We were really impressed on that first trip. The Gustafson family and their staff really set the bar high for RV resort experiences. We have returned to Jamaica Beach at least once a year every year since that first trip and we have never been disappointed! Weather Safety is one of the most important variables in RV life and camping. It is critical that RVers stay weather aware and have a plan for what they will do to stay safe if severe weather strikes. And of course, the same is true for tent campers and car campers. Tents, cars, trucks and even the largest RVs are no match for really horrible weather and you need to have a weather safety plan just in case.
