Welcome Back Y'all!

Hello November! While we're not fans of the time change, we do love this time of year. And we're happy to see that there are now a few more options available for enjoying the outdoors and the Fall weather.

We've updated our November festival list so you'll know which Texas festivals are on schedule for this year and which ones are postponed to 2021.

We're also in the process of making major changes to our website. We'll be announcing the updates here as they go live. You'll see the first announcements at the bottom of this newsletter.

This week, we take you along to the Texas Renaissance Festival, introduce you to Rachel and Cameron, full-time RVers with endless awesome stories, and share great National Parks news for Veterans and Gold Star Families, and that's just the beginning.

The Texas Renaissance Festival | Side Trip Sundays

On this Sunday Side Trip, we take you to the largest Renaissance festival in the USA! The Texas Renaissance Festival happens every October and November in Todd Mission, Texas (North of Houston, near Magnolia). The 55 acre grounds make distancing easy with tons of space to move around. We walked over 3.5 miles while we were there! Watch Yesterday's Video.

The festival is a bit different this year: you need to buy tickets in advance, tickets are limited, some of the shops are closed, and some of the small stage areas are being used for "mask free zones", but it's still a great place to get outdoors, get some exercise and people watch!
