As we reach the end of September, we are really excited for the cooler weather and the end of the Summer heat and humidity. We hope that you will be able to get out somewhere and enjoy the Fall weather!
We saw a story just this week that several hikers had to be rescued from the trails at Caprock Canyons State Park. Luckily, everyone was located and helped out of the canyon safely. Please stay prepared as you hit the trails. Canyon floors and rocky areas can stay hot well into the Fall. Wear a hat, take plenty of water and sunscreen, and plan to hike early in the day.
