This Just In From Oak Thicket Park on Lake Fayette!

In our Oak Thicket Park video a couple of weeks ago, we mentioned that the park was a bit rustic, not big rig friendly, and in need of some TLC. We also mentioned that we enjoyed our stay and that the park was under new management who would be making some changes.

This week, we were really happy to see a comment from the new park managers with details on the updates and changes that are underway at Oak Thicket Park! If you missed our Oak Thicket video, You Can Watch It Here!

We greatly appreciate new Park Manager, Lisa, taking the time to respond and provide us with these details and we are excited to visit Oak Thicket again in the future to see the improvements. It sounds to us, that Oak Thicket Park is on its way to being on par with its sister LCRA park, South Shore Park on Lake Bastrop (which is AWESOME!).

We're working on our full Park Visitors' Guide for Oak Thicket Park right now and will be posting it soon. We'll keep you updated on improvements as we hear about them. You can also follow Oak Thicket Park on Facebook for future updates!
